2022 marks forty years of Crewe Concert Band!
Our Band was formed in 1982, for woodwind and brass players of all ages, and until April 2011 was known as Crewe West End Concert Band, the name being taken from the Band's original rehearsal venue. We are immensely proud of the fact that we still have some of the Band's founding members within our lineup.
Our members are predominantly amateur musicians, although some are, or have been, professional musicians and/or music teachers.
We represent a wide range of backgrounds, professions and age groups but we come together through a shared love of making music for our own enjoyment, and the enjoyment of others.
Despite the challenges of the pandemic, we have returned stronger than ever with ten new players joining us in the twelve months since rehearsals recommenced.
